Hello everyone 🙂 🙂 🙂
Today begins a new month, OCTOBER 🙂 On the other side of the world its the beginning of AUTUMN or FALL , a season just before the snowy CHRISTMAS 🙂 🙂 🙂
During my usual surfing for pictures, I had this thought to make a post on AUTUMN. Since I am from this side of the world where we don’t find much prominent autumn or fall and we do have very little preparations/celebrations for this season. I might be wrong if my knowledge is less and also we do have many other celebrations in India especially an ancient Indian festival Diwali , festival of lights( you can check the myths about this here)
I don’t have much idea about how the autumn is celebrated in the European world or any other nations. I would love to know from you, how my friends celebrate the season 🙂 I got some beautiful pics and hence here by I am trying to give all my readers a visual treat of this season 🙂 🙂 🙂
AUTUMN FROM THE PRESENT AND PAST…….
FAMOUS QUOTES ABOUT AUTUMN…….
IT’S A BEAUTIFUL SEASON AND READERS CAN’T STAY WITHOUT BOOKS NO MATTER WHAT SEASON PREVAILS OUTSIDE YOUR WINDOW….WE ENJOY BOOK AT ANY CONDITION 😉 😉 😉
POETS NEVER FAIL IN DESCRIBING ANY CHANGE IN NATURE SINCE THEY ARE THE KEEN OBSERVERS…. 🙂 🙂 🙂
FALL IS ONE SUCH SEASON WHICH WILL LET THE CHILDREN PLAY FOR PLENTY OF TIME. 🙂 🙂 🙂 THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE SCENARIOS FOR KIDS ON THE COUNTRY WHILE I DON’T HAVE SUCH HOPE FOR THE KIDS LIVING IN THE URBAN 😦 😦 😦 I GOT IN HAND WITH FEW ILLUSTRATIONS WHICH I WOULD LOVE TO SHARE 🙂 I DO ACCEPT THE FACT THAT I DO NURTURE A NAUGHTY CHILD ME 🙂 :p 😀
OFCOURSE IT IS A SEASON OF PREPARATION FOR HARVEST FESTIVALS, THANKSGIVING AND WAIT FOR CHRISTMAS & WINTER. FEW REMINDERS FOR MY FRIENDS FOR PERFECT WELCOMING OF THE SEASON 🙂 🙂 🙂 PLEASE DO TAKE CARE OF YOUR HEALTH AND DON’T FORGET TO MAKE WONDERFUL MEMORIES WITH YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILIES 🙂 🙂 🙂
DO FIND SOME TIME IN SOLITUDE TO GET CLOSE TO OUR MOTHER NATURE. ENJOY THE CHANGES AROUND YOU. GO ON LONG WALKS TO PARKS, TRIPS TO COUNTRYSIDE OR JOIN THE HARVEST WITH THE FAMILY 🙂 🙂 🙂 ENJOY THE WEATHER. DON’T BE SAD OVER SHEDDING OF LEAVES. INSTEAD REJOICE AT THE COLOR CHANGES ALL AROUND YOU AND DO REMEMBER THAT “LEAVES ARE SHEDDING NOW AND AFTER FEW MONTHS YOU WILL WATCH NEW LEAVES ON THEM”. LIKE THAT SHED OUT ALL THAT WORRIES YOU, GIVE SPACE FOR NEW HOPES TO SPROUT 🙂 🙂 🙂
INSTEAD OF LAZY HIBERNATION, DO FIND SOME TIME FOR SMALL CUTE DIYs (DO IT YOURSELF) 🙂 🙂 🙂 YOU CAN GRAB FEW PINE CORNS ON YOUR WAY TO THE PARK DURING YOUR WALK, GET THEM HOME MAKE TINY STUFFS, GET YOUR HANDS STAINED WITH SOME PAINTS 🙂 😉 I COULD FIND FEW DIYs…it might be useful to spark your creative minds 🙂 Do post the pics of your attempts for the season 🙂
DO TAKE PICS OF THOSE HAPPY MOMENTS AND KEEP IT AS A TOKEN OF LOVE FOR YOUR NEXT GENERATION 🙂 I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR YOUR EXPERIENCES OR IMAGES ABOUT THE SEASON. I DON’T THINK ALL OF US WILL BE HAVING A SMOOTH SEASON, LIFE IS A MIXTAPE. LEARN TO FORGIVE….”DON’T LOSE HOPE. STORMS CAN’T STAY FOR LONG, IT HAS TO WORN OUT! LET US PRACTICE TO EXPRESS MORE GRATITUDE 🙂 🙂 🙂 I WISH ALL OF YOU A BLESSED MONTH 🙂 🙂 🙂
I am from also India…
I have always wished to experience autumn one day…

Love the pictures! Here in Chicago, the trees have just barely begun to change color, but the temperatures are blessedly cooler. Ironically, one of the best examples I can give of this time of year here is Tu Hi Junoon from Dhoom 3, which was filmed in Chicago. It captures the way the days in autumn here can just be so crisp and clear. Millennium Park and Navy Pier (the Ferris wheel part), have never looked better on film. This video shows how it will look here in about a week.

Ohh, okay. I kind of hoped it was from some kind of website that sells pictures because it looks perfectly to use as a blog pic.

i just surf and collect maximum images…sometimes these surfing itself give me blog prompts…i save them under different folders and later i categorize in detail while working on it 🙂

I’m always afraid to use pics I just find on internet bc here in my country (Croatia) people get sued if use pics without permission.

ohhh….in that case…whenever u r using picture give a statement of images taken from so and so site (i have made it clearly stated whenever use any paintings from one of my fav artist, or u can give the image link or name)

Thanks. I stated it for those I used, but for background that I bought I didn’t.
Here people didn’t even know that were doing something wrong, and then they just got suid, so that’s why I don’t like to risk, especially because I don’t know all the international laws . I’d rather pay and be safe then live in a fear, even if that fear is not reasonable.

Beautiful write-up and lovely collection of pictures 🙂 We have our greatest festival in autumn, just around the corner, the Durga Puja. In Gujrat, Navaratri is celebrated (have already started) and almost the whole of North India celebrates Dussehra… 🙂

I’m from Europe and answering your question – we don’t really celebrate Autumn, the pumpkin tradition has just been imported but usually more thoughts are going to the dead (All Saints’ Day). And despite of the beauty of this period of the year a lot of people feel depressed (rain and darkness)

I’ve enjoyed this post with all the colourful collage of pictures and quotes for this beautiful season. Indeed, autumn colours makes the season the best but it can be depressing due to the cold and strong wind. 🙂
