Hunger (English Translation)

This was a comical poetry attempt done during the MSc college days. I was damn hungry during the class and its all about missing home made food 😦
I had recently posted this in my native language. Now only I could get some time to try the english translation.

The inner me was shattering and crying
At first, it was unnoticed
I didn’t mind the inner pleas
I deviated my consciousness

I waited counting minutes
Time seemed reluctant to move
The minute hands forgot to run
I waited for time to pass

Within no time I heard the pleas
This time I couldn’t avoid them
Slowly I realized the reason for the pleas
Closed the half read text.

Chain of different tastes came into my mind
There seemed to have a screening of several memories
I wished for the presence of mother
And my legs wished to run towards HOME
